As you can see above, I have been seeking track permission. I have emailed Jessie J's manager. I found this email by going on to Jessie's official website and finding the contact details.

Researching the Music Video

Jessie J - Who You Are
I originally chose this song because it's a powerful song and I believed that it would be suitable to cover in my own style. My idea's to put in this video would have been performance based, and would have been a dance routine involving a ballet dancer. I decided not to chose this video because I believe that, although it is a powerful song, it would be hard to put together my own version of this because of finding a ballet dancer and making the video my own.

Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
I then decided on this song, and had strong idea's of what I wanted in the video. The video would have been set on a beach with a couple walking along the beach. Although, because these idea's were too close to the original video, I found it wouldn't be appropriate to use this song.

Keane - Bedshaped
I then decided to look at Bedshaped by Keane, and discovered it was an animated video. My idea's were for the video to be animated and lyrics being on the screen, but as the original video as animated, I decided against this video because of this reason.

Taylor Swift - We Are Never Getting Back Together
I then decided to look at this video, but because it was a fairly new video at the time of looking for songs, I decided against this, as many people were covering it and people had already taken my idea's.

Coldplay - Princess of China
I then moved onto a Coldplay song, my idea's for this song were to use a man and a women to sing and dance in this video, but because the original video has a man and a woman singing and dancing I felt it was too close to the original video to chose this idea.

Jessie J - Rainbow
I finally decided to pick this video. I have idea's on using animation, and because Jessie hasn't officially released a video to this song, I won't be influenced by anything that the video has in it originally.
